We are incredibly proud to celebrate Garey Burgess on being named Community Coach of the Year at the Canterbury Sports Awards.

Garey goes above and beyond in his voluntary role, running boxing classes for our tamariki for multiple years, helping them build confidence, self-respect & resilience. Through his encouragement and guidance, many have grown in leaps and bounds, discovering strengths they never knew they had.

We are so lucky to have Garey in our corner 🫶🏼 His dedication to the trust and the positive impact he has on our tamariki make this recognition thoroughly deserved.
