With a general election next month, we thought we'd outline Broad Park's manifesto on some key issues:
- no new parkrun taxes. Parkrun will remain free, for everyone, forever.
- three free parkrun visits a year. In fact, have as many free parkrun visits a year as you'd like!
- sustainable transport, by which we mean transporting yourself on foot the 5km around the Broad Park course every Saturday morning.

Most importantly of all, vote with your feet and keep turning up to parkrun!

"First milestone for me! 25 weeks on the bounce, who would have thought!?"

Congratulations Emma! 💜

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
Takahe 2 Akaroa will be back in 2027! Hopefully we'll have some Run New Brighton/Broad Park parkrun teams in it!

We were most concerned to hear Broad Park regular Brian Tyro has taken up streaking, until he explained to us this means he is on a streak of going to a different parkrun each week. Here he is in action - and appropriately clothed - at Mandeville parkrun this morning with some other familiar Broad Park faces.
