We are over the moon to share with you that yesterday Renee had her surgery. Renee’s mum & dad said the surgeon was very happy with the result. They are so relieved after Renee had a very long day in surgery, in fact the whole day. Recovery time now. Thank you so much for supporting Renee’s journey, you made yesterday possible 👏👏👏with your donations and moral support ❤️

Exciting news that Renee now has a surgery date mid December 🎉 she is excited & terrified at the same time but knows it will be life changing. Thank you for being on this journey with Renee, her whanau and Nuk and Chris. We will update you after her surgery. Just as you do, we wish Renee all the very very best in life. Nuk & Chris. Kia ora koutou, hi everyone
another update from Renee. All is progressing well.
Renee had her scans done a few weeks ago and went over consent forms with her surgeon. They have all been sent over to the States so the jaw joint making process has begun! That is such fantastic news.
Now Renee is waiting to hear when they are on their way back to NZ. Once they arrive a surgery date will be booked !! 💕 It is getting closer and although Renee is feeling both scared & excited, she is so much closer to a far normal life. Hi everyone, we have an update for you on how Renee is progressing towards better health. From our last post you will know that Renee is undergoing a full dental process in preparation for her next stage. Renee is still waiting to get her wisdom teeth completely done. She is back to the surgeon at the end of April and hoping to get things finally ticked off and ticking along to that next stage. From us all, kia kaha Renee - we know this has been quite a process to date, but hopefully not long to go now. Chris and Nuk. - Wishing you all a very Happy Easter

Hi everyone here is an update about Renee’s journey so far. Before Renee gets to the stage of major surgery, she has to undergo a few preparation steps including dental work. Her first stage of dental work is now complete. The 2nd stage is to get all of her wisdom teeth taken out. I know, I’m feeling it too! This all requires a referral process so it takes time. Once Renee’s wisdom teeth are removed Renee will be back with the surgeon to undergo imaging for the joints to be made. Overall it is a long process but the outcome will be worth every step. I will keep you posted on Renee’s progress. Renee sends her Aroha to you. Thanks everyone, Chris Korako

We are so happy to share Renee’s news. Renee met recently with specialists and is waiting for a date for her operation.
This is fantastic news and it wouldn’t be possible without the support & aroha you have given Renee.
