Did you receive our newsletter this morning?

If not, we're excited to be launching our summer events & engagement program, including the launch of our new Speaker Series, which is a series of small events designed to engage, connect and celebrate all aspects of what we love about greater Ōtautahi Christchurch from afar.

Our first Speaker Series event is happening on Wednesday 29th May at 6.30pm, at Copperfield Gallery, where SCAPE Public Art Executive Director, Richard Aindow will speak about the 25 years (and counting) history of SCAPE.

Our second Speaker Series, is "A chat with Raf" on Tuesday 11th of June at 6.30pm, kindly hosted by Oritain at their London offices. Raf Manji will speak about his experiences in local and national politics, the highs and lows of being a Christchurch resident, and his involvement in Christchurch earthquakes and rebuild as well as this involvement in responding to the devasting March 15 Mosque attacks.

And to round off our summer calendar, we are already planning our Annual Picnic and Cricket day at Hagley Hall on Sunday August 11th. Don't miss this annual event, where Hagley Cricket Club hosts a cricket match against the London New Zealand Cricket Club, in the magnificent grounds of the 18th-century Palladian-style Hagley Hall. Pack a picnic and relax under the oak trees that provided the very acorns of the oak trees in Christchurch's Hagley Park.

All event information, including registrations can be found on our website: https://christchurchfoundation.org.nz/united-kingdom/overview

We can't wait to see you there!

Enduring transformative change for our place and people, through philanthropy.
