💙 Today the BBC shared some truly incredible news for the Huntington’s community, and I couldn’t stop the tears when I read it. This is a huge moment of hope for our future.

But it’s also a day to pause and remember those we’ve lost along the way. I know my dad would have been so happy to hear this news, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss him.

Back in July I tested negative for HD, but today feels just as special—because I know how much this breakthrough means for my friends, family, and everyone in the HD community.

When I visited UniQure’s lab in Amsterdam, I saw firsthand the incredible passion of the researchers. They once organised a VIP lunch for me, but the truth is—they are the real VIPs. Their dedication is changing lives.

To everyone fighting for progress: thank you. This is a step forward filled with love, hope, and remembrance. 💙
