We are running a series of Working Bee's again this September. If you have an impact driver and are up for Working with a team, w**d matting srouting willows or alders please join us! Also if u like w**d wacking, we have some spring growth kicking in around the native trees and love some help keeping the grass down 😀

A Huge Thank you to the Hurunui W**d Busters, we got all the willow sprouts cleared on the east side of Woolshed Creek In 2.5 hours!! A huge boost for us, winning the w**d management challenge at the Hutchison Reserve. In the next few weeks we will be screwing w**dmat onto any stumps that have any break away sprouts which means next year there will less to clear!!

'Waitaha for Action' JRCP Water Quality Project is Ready to be Presented Tonight (Wednesday 10th June) at Cheviot Anglican Church 7pm. Very Exciting to Have Jed River Catchment Wide River Water Data!Most comprehensive study done in 15years! Great for JRCP to have this baseline data so in 20 years, 30 years, 50 years from now we can measure how much our and other community river projects are having an impact on water quality! Plus what action and where would have the most impact! Hope to see you there 😀

What a Beautiful Day To Be Outside! Join us at 1.30pm at the Hutchison Reserve To Free Some Native Trees From the Long Grass, come for 1/2 hour or for 2 hours! It is actually quite addictive and satisfying seeing the difference you can make! Great Way To Participate and Celebrate World Environment Day!
