Today, we share some difficult news.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, and following a process that we do not believe reflected the spirit of fairness or transparency we value, the Cambridge Cossie Poker Whānau has officially come to an end.
This is not the outcome we wanted. We made genuine efforts to continue in good faith and in the best interests of our members; however, the situation left us with no viable way forward.
We are deeply disappointed by how this has unfolded, particularly given the standards of fairness and respect we believe our members both upheld and deserved.
For clarity, this decision is final, and we will not be engaging further on this matter.
That said, we stand firmly behind what we built—a community based on respect, inclusion, and integrity. The quality of our games and the strength of our whānau speak for themselves.
To every member, supporter, and friend—thank you. Your loyalty and commitment made this group something truly special.
We leave with our heads held high and pride in everything we achieved together.
