⛵ CLUB OPEN DAY – THIS SUNDAY!

We’re kicking off the new sailing season with our Club Open Day!

📅 Sunday 11 October
⏰ 12:30–3:00pm
📍 Cambridge Yacht & Motorboat Club

All members are welcome — new and returning! Come down, meet the club community and get out on the water.

Our new Learn to Sail and Youth Programme sailors can meet their coaches and volunteers, while we’d love our experienced sailors and Youth Programme sailors to come along and help rig boats, welcome new members and take people out sailing.

Whether you’re new to sailing or have been with us for years, come along and get involved! ⛵🌊

Everyone welcome — see you Sunday!

⛵ Have your say – Club Racing

We’re looking at whether our regular club racing would work better for our sailing members on a Wednesday evening rather than Sunday afternoon, and we’d love to hear what you think!

Current: Sunday | 12:30pm briefing – approx. 3pm
Proposed: Wednesday | 5:30pm briefing – approx. 7.30pm

Whether you currently race every week, occasionally, or not at all, we want to hear from you! We’re also keen to know whether members would be able to help volunteer on Wednesday evenings.

No decision has been made yet — this is your chance to have your say! ⛵

Great day yesterday for the Cambridge Sailing Team at Sail Northland New Zealand Team Sailing Association NZSS Team Sailing National Championships.

Three wins so far, but light conditions for Day 4 are right up our alley.
