Exciting news Te Miro:

The Settlers Hall has won a major prize in the Rabobank Good Deeds Community Hub Competition valued at $10,000. This will be used to install 2 new heat pumps in the hall, among other things, and also comes with 30 labour volunteers for a working bee.

Listen out on 97FM Newstalk ZB’s “The Country” programme hosted by Jamie Mackay between 12 and 1pm tomorrow, Wednesday the 30th, when Jamie will interview the hall committee chairman Matt Keyte.

A huge thanks to Rabobank for supporting our hall and local community.
