Apologies to you all- but we have to cancel next planned sailing day tomorrow.
The weather forecast for tomorrow at 10am at Broad Bay is
17 knots gusting to 28 knots and raining.
Well over our safety margin for wind speeds and therefore we have to cancel. So sorry about this.
Next sailing day will come up soon; we will let you know here.

Next scheduled sailing day is Saturday, 24. January 2026.
From 11am till 2pm.
We appreciate a payment of $ 20.- cash on the day or via internet banking.
We are looking forward to starting the year 2026 with some great sailings on our harbour. As usual we meet at the Broad Bay Boating Club. Weather forecast at this stage is 15 kn gusting 28 kn Westerlies. Let`s hope the wind settles down a bit.

We had a great sailing day on 13. December, check out the photos.
We would like to say thank you so much to all our sailing buddies, sailors and participants, trustees and boaties and whanau. Without you all we could not make it, we appreciate you are giving your time, energy and passion to help us getting everyone out on the water.

Summer is here, yay!!!
We are hoping to go sailing this coming Saturday.
13. December 2025, from 11am to 2pm but can be extended if needed.
Weather forecast looks ok for now. We will keep you posted here and on our website.
Looking forward to see you all.
PS Weather gods are with us-forecast is less then 10kn wind, increasing in the afternoon at 4pm to 12knots, gusting up to 13kn. Steady NE wind.

Weather forecast is not in our favour: 15knots with gusts up to 25knots. Sorry guys.😞

Hello all
We are planning our 1. sailing day this season.
Saturday, 15. November from 11am till 1pm
This event is totally weather dependent! And our spring weather is volatile and very changeable.
As of today the forecast for Saturday is 15kn, gusting to 25kn at 10am. This is too much wind for our safety requirement.
However, we will watch wind forecast closely and will update here on FB accordingly.
We appreciate the payment of $20.- per sailing session, thank you heaps, to help with our costs of running the trust, completely based on volunteer's time and effort.
See you out on the water hopefully on Saturday.
