💛 Celebrating Service and Dedication 💛
At our recent Hato Hone St John Marlborough Service Awards, we were proud to recognise 13 remarkable members whose combined service totals more than 255 years supporting our communities. We also acknowledged three Ambulance staff who achieved their National Diploma in Ambulance.
A special acknowledgement goes to John White KStJ, who received a third bar to his Ultra Long Service Medal for an extraordinary 65 years of service. John’s commitment, leadership, and care for others have made a lasting impact on Hato Hone St John and the wider community.
The event also marked an important milestone for our district as it commemorated 20 years since the Marlborough Ambulance Service was transferred to St John in December 2006.
Thanks to our special guests Stuart Smith MP, Deputy Mayor David Croad, Acting Tasman District Police Commander Superintendent Blair MacDonald, Marlborough Area Police Inspector Simon Feltham, past Ambulance managers and staff, and family and friends who made this such a memorable occasion.
