In 2026, our family — Steph, Cam, Danielle, and Mackenzie Richardson — became the new custodians of Bit by Bit. Long-time customers and supporters, we’ve always been drawn to its integrity, plant-based ethos, and commitment to doing things the right way.
Today, Bit by Bit is handcrafted in the rural community of Uruti, North Taranaki, where we live, work, and raise our twin daughters, Danielle and Mackenzie. Our focus is simple: protect what makes the brand special, honour its origins, and grow it thoughtfully and sustainably.
Kia ora — we’re Steph and Cam, a Taranaki family deeply connected to our land and community. We run a small sheep and beef operation alongside a local maintenance business.
Steph brings a background in digital transformation and people-centred consultancy — detail-driven, systems-minded, and passionate about community betterment.
Cam brings a steady, practical approach shaped by farming and hands-on business ownership — process-driven, consistent, and committed to quality.
Together, we bring care, consistency, and strong community values to every product we make.

At Cam’s Contracting, we’re here to make property maintenance easy. From general lawn care and mowing to hedges and fencing, we do it all — no fuss, just great results.
We specialise in transforming overgrown, out-of-control areas back into manageable spaces, using specialised equipment to tackle even the toughest property maintenance jobs. We also offer w**d control services.
Fully insured for your peace of mind, we’re based in North Taranaki and service residential and rural properties from Inglewood through to north of New Plymouth.
