| 🚆 This Sunday, Auckland’s opens to passengers.

Following a major programme of construction, testing and collaboration, one of New Zealand’s most significant infrastructure projects is about to become part of Auckland’s everyday transport network.

We have followed its progress with particular interest, with several FNZCCI member companies among the many organisations that have contributed their expertise at different stages of its delivery.

The opening of the marks an important milestone for and for everyone who has contributed to bringing the new network to life.

Congratulations to all the teams, partners and people involved. We look forward to seeing the City Rail Link in operation from Sunday, 13 September!

With unemployment at an eleven-year high in New Zealand, the FNZCCI is launching an initiative to support jobseekers in our wider community.

Through FNZCCI Career Connect, participating Board and team members are offering a limited number of informal 1:1 Coffee Catch-Ups, in person or online.

These conversations are an opportunity to talk through your job search and next steps, gain another perspective and, where relevant, explore connections within the FNZCCI network.

𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | FNZCCI Networking Lunch with Ambassador Laurence Beau 🇫🇷🇳🇿

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting H.E. Laurence Beau, Ambassador of France to New Zealand & the Cook Islands, for one final Networking Lunch before the conclusion of her four-year mission in New Zealand.

The lunch brought together FNZCCI members from across a range of sectors to hear Ambassador Beau reflect on the strength of the France-New Zealand economic relationship.

In her remarks, she highlighted the important place France and French businesses hold within New Zealand’s economic landscape, from long-term investment to the contribution of French expertise across business, infrastructure and other key sectors. She also reflected on the importance of strong, trusted partnerships in creating the conditions for those relationships to continue developing.

It was a fitting opportunity to look back on four years of close engagement with Ambassador Beau. We are very grateful for her support of the FNZCCI, our members and the wider French-New Zealand business community throughout her mission, and for the openness and commitment she has brought to strengthening these connections.

Merci beaucoup, Madame l’Ambassadrice, et bonne continuation. 🇫🇷🤝🇳🇿

🍽 Our thanks also to Maison Vauron for welcoming us for this special occasion.
