Angel's Kitten Rescue North Shore

Angel's Kitten Rescue North Shore I rescue, foster, desex, and find forever homes for abandoned, orphaned & homeless kittens. You can donate directly into my rescue kittens account below.

I rescue, foster, desex, and find forever homes for abandoned, orphaned & homeless kittens, queens with kittens and pregnant queens. I am a member of the Auckland Community Cat Coalition Inc and have been for thirteen years. The adoption fee I charge covers some of the cost of worm and flea treatments, vet check, desexing, microchipping, medicine, and food & litter while they are in my care. I pro

vide a warm, safe and loving place for the very vulnerable, kittens, mums with kittens and pregnant mums who have been abandoned and are homeless and have nowhere to go. I also bottle feed very young orphaned kittens who have lost their mums. All my rescues are provided with nutritious food and fresh water every day, and warm soft clean bedding to snuggle in. They are treated for worms and fleas and get veterinary care when required. They are given lots of toys to play with and they all receive heaps and heaps of love, cuddles and attention until they are adopted into a new forever home. All my rescued kittens are desexed, microchipped and NZCAR registered prior to going to their new forever homes. I get no funding at all, thats mean no sponsors, and no annual grants like other larger rescues. I pay for everything needed to do my rescue work from the adoption fee I charge. Please donate to help save the lives of these very vulnerable cats and kittens. Angels Kittens

SALEM HAS NOW BEEN ADOPTED

Salem is the last kitten left of a litter of four, all of his litter mates have gone to their new homes and Salem is still waiting.
He is about six months old but is little for his age. He is a very sweet wee guy, he's shy to begin with but he warms up to you very quickly and he is very food motivated and just loves being hand fed treats. Salem is very playful and so darn cute!! He will make a great new furry family member to a family, couple or single person. Salem has been desexed, micro chipped, registered on the NZCAR, and is up to date with flea and worm treatments.
Salem and his litter mates were born to an abandoned mother who had been fending for herself for months having litter after litter of kittens. When rescued the kittens were starving and were skin and bone. They are now beautiful and healthy, and great with kids see video post dated 11th April.

Adoption fee:
$200.00

To adopt a kitten is a fifteen to twenty year commitment, you will need to provide a permanent home, and to be able to afford vet bills and food for your cat for the rest of their life.

If you would like to adopt Salem and can provide a safe environment to roam away from traffic and a secure and loving forever home for the rest of his life then please call Angel on 0273240262 to apply for adoption.
Salem is located on the North Shore of Auckland.

***UPDATE***
I have an update on the mother cat and her six kittens.

Pookie's story

Owner was kicked out & left Pookie to the neighbour claiming that she'd be back for her. Six months passed, she did not return. Pookie lived on scraps fed by one neighbour, and another neighbour on the other side of the property had been feeding Pookie for the last three months. Pookie has had two litters of kittens since the owner left and had one litter previously when owner was still around. Neighbour was apparently allergic to cats so she couldn't take her in but let her give birth last Saturday night on her deck leaving a flannel for her to lay on and using a old jacket to hang on the railing to block off the rain which was soaked. They were rescued the next day by a member of my family. This is Pookie's 4th litter of kittens and she is very proud of her new babies, and such a lovely friendly cat. They are now being well looked after, the mum has been dewormed and deflead and is now being fed a nutritious diet of kitten biscuits and wet food thanks to some donations made from my last post. If you would like to donate towards the ongoing care for Pookie and her kittens you can donate to:

Six little newborns rescued

These six little kittens and their mum were rescued yesterday from a property in Otara, they were sleeping on a deck with no shelter or any bedding to keep them warm. They are fortunate to have been rescued just before this terrible cold rainy weather where they might not have survived. Mum and babies are now warm cosy and safe.
The mum needs to be dewormed, deflead and to be feed good quality cat food to nourish her and her kittens.
If you would like to help with the cost of cat food to feed this rather large litter and their mum over the coming weeks then you could make a donation which would be very much appreciated.

Lulu

One week ago this gorgeous little girl was given to me. She was rescued by a man who found her on the side of the road, he took her home and cared for her for a couple of weeks but couldnt keep her permanently. Lulu is in good health and she is so friendly and adorable. She had already been adopted and has settled into her new home where she has lots of toys and cardboard boxes to play in and chew on and she is exercising her athletic abilities by climbing up the curtains. Lulu's new family adore her.

Annie & her catnip pot
plant

I just had to take a video of this and post it.
Annie is an ex rescue of mine that my son and daughter inlaw adopted back in 2020.
Today i was visiting and while out on the deck i bent down to pick some dead bits off of the pot plant growing there and Annie came rushing over to protect her catnip that was growing in there as apparently she is very protective of it. She absolutely loves her catnip plant and gets into the pot every day and lays on it and rubs her face all over it!!
Its so cool that she has her very own catnip pot plant and a huge one at that because Annie is quite a large p***y cat😊
