📰 COVID-19, Public Trust & What Ayurveda Can Teach Us About Resilience
Recent developments in the United States involving former NIAID official Dr. David Morens, along with renewed discussion around Dr. Anthony Fauci and COVID-era decision-making, have again raised important questions about scientific transparency, public trust and informed health decisions.
At Rishikalp Yoga & Ayurveda Institute, we believe there is an important lesson beyond the political debate:
🌿 Prevention deserves as much attention as treatment.
For thousands of years, Ayurveda has emphasized Swasthavritta—maintaining health through appropriate diet, sleep, movement, yoga, mental wellbeing and seasonal routines.
Ayurveda should not be viewed as a replacement for vaccination, medicines or necessary medical care. Instead, responsible integrative healthcare can combine the strengths of modern medicine with evidence-informed preventive lifestyle practices.
