99% of clients indicated that ATWC provides a safe space for them to grow. 💙

Creating safe, supportive environments is at the heart of what we do.

When people feel heard, valued, and supported, they are better able to build confidence, strengthen wellbeing, and work towards their goals.

Thank you to everyone who trusts us to walk alongside them on their journey.

Real experiences. Real impact. 💙

We are grateful to share reflections from whānau who have connected with ATWC services and programmes.

Their words remind us of the importance of community, support, and walking alongside one another.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Marie Raos, President of the Half Moon Bay Rotary Club, and the members of the club for their generous donation of blankets and pyjamas. 💙

As the colder months settle in, these thoughtful gifts will help bring warmth, comfort, and care to whānau in our community. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and support shown through this donation.

Thank you for helping make winter a little warmer for those who need it most.

ATWC is proud to acknowledge Evan Welch Davies, long‑serving ATWC Board member, who has been appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours.

Evan has been recognised for his significant contribution to business and governance across Aotearoa. He served as the founding Chief Executive and Managing Director of SkyCity Entertainment Group, leading the conception, development, and opening of SkyCity Auckland and the Sky Tower. He is currently the Chief Executive of the Todd Group, and has contributed extensively to governance across the public, private, and not‑for‑profit sectors — from the arts to central and local government.

Evan’s long‑standing involvement with ATWC, Auckland City Mission, and the Melanesian Trust Board reflects his deep alignment with the values, whakapapa, and mission of Anglican social services. His strategic clarity, commercial insight, and commitment to community wellbeing have strengthened ATWC’s governance and supported the organisation through periods of growth and change.

Board Chair Kevin Brewer noted: “This is a truly well‑deserved recognition of Evan’s enormous contribution to governance in Aotearoa. We are privileged and grateful that he continues to support ATWC.”

Warmest congratulations, Evan, on this national honour.

This winter, your kindness brings warmth.

As the colder months approach, many whānau are facing rising costs and difficult choices, between heating their homes, putting food on the table, and meeting everyday needs.

Your generosity can help ease that pressure; bringing warmth, comfort, and care to families who need it most. Every gift, big or small, makes a real difference.

Together, we can support whānau doing it tough this winter.

Your aroha can help keep a family warm.

Tālofa Lava! This week we celebrate Samoan Language Week, a time to honour and celebrate the beauty of gagana Sāmoa, culture, identity and community.

Language connects us to our stories, our families and one another. We acknowledge the importance of preserving and embracing Pacific languages within our communities today and for future generations.
