GALS: Auckland's Rainbow Choir

GALS - Auckland's Rainbow Choir is a community choir. Created in 1992, we were the first-established LGBTQ+ choir in New Zealand.

GALS is a non-auditioned LGBTQ+ community choir based in Auckland. Going strong since 1992, we are the first-established gay and le***an choir in New Zealand. As GALS enter our 28th year we now boast around 70 members, aged 18-80! As a valued part of the Auckland Rainbow Community we invite you to join this group to create a brighter future for all. Members of the page are supporters as well as members of GALS choir. At present, there are more supporters than choir members, so please remember this when posting. Other music-related posts of interest to page members are welcomed. The page owners prefer music to be sung at a concert in future is not included on the page as we prefer repertoire not to be detailed to potential attendees, except in marketing of the concert. Political or other GLBTI material does not come within the ambit of this page. We usually hold two concerts per year around June and October/November.
