Bayswater Halloween Trail – That’s Us 🎃
A massive thank you to everyone who made this year’s event such a success.
To Skyline Media – our major fundraising support, a parent of one of our own, and a rock-solid volunteer helping bring it all to life – thank you, Jared and Abby! (If anyone needs aerial footage, we’ve got a local whānau who’s got the goods!)
To Resource Recovery Devonport – thank you for your generous support of our Enviroschool and for backing an event so loved by locals in a part of the peninsula that’s often forgotten. You helped lift up your local school, and we worked hard to keep it as zero waste as possible.
To Devonport Electrical – thank you for your Halloween spirit and support. We know you’ll keep the lights shining on this joyful event in our hood.
Ms Noughty from Noughty Wasters – what a gift of the gab! Thanks for MCing with so much energy and heart.
To the Beautification Trust – we know it was last minute, but we really value your guidance and look forward to working alongside you with more prep and training in the future.
To Devonport Peninsula Trust for handing us over this incredible event and resources 🙏 we hope to continue the legacy that you laid down. In the voluntary capacities we have 🙌
And to all the amazing locals and businesses who gave time, prizes, kai, and energy to make the night what it was –
Look Sharp, Devonport Drama (those zombies were next-level!), Devonport Youth Forum (awesome, engaged rangatahi – we’re proud!), Pixie Paint, Boujee Berries, Akemi’s Dumplings, Double Dutch Fries, Sheppard’s Corner, Sweet As Crêpes, Karrage Boy, The Water Cone Ltd (for keeping us hydrated with free fresh water 💧), Aloi (our local legend who always shows up), and of course our Bayswater School whānau – thank you.
We dug deep. Two big events in one year is a huge ask for a small school, and we’re so grateful for everyone who leaned in, knowing every bit of effort benefits our tamariki with new resources and opportunities.
Special mention to the incredible kids of our PTA – who had their guardians preoccupied all year. You’re the real MVPs behind the scenes.
To Lenny, Alex & the Northcote Tavern – epic best-dressed prizes! 🎭
What a community – showing up, having fun, and supporting one another. Around 3,000 people joined in the fun, helping us raise funds for our new playground.
Bayswater has claimed back the Halloween Trail.
See you in 2026 – if you dare 😈
