Last Saturday, we held our Visa, Vibes, & Salu-Salo event in the hopes of creating a helpful space for Filipino students to better understand their next steps here in New Zealand.
With many of our members preparing or applying for post-study work visas, and eventually for residency, we know how important it is to hear directly from the right people. Through our partnership with Immigration Advisers New Zealand Ltd, our members were able to ask questions, gain clearer guidance, and feel more confident about what comes next.
And of course, after the visa talk, we had our much-needed salu-salo where we shared Pinoy food (lumpiang shanghai, pancit, chopsuey, hopia omggg) with our fellow kababayans. And who could forget the raffle draw? Half of the attendees went home with prizes!
