A huge congratulations to venturers Isla and Arnau on completing their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards!

This prestigious honor is a testament to their incredible hard work, determination, and commitment across all sections of the award over some years.

Isla tackled her Physical Recreation through hockey, expanded her Skills in conservation, and dedicated her Service to the Keas from being one herself! She also completed her Adventurous Journey with an expedition to Lake Waikaremoana and a Residential Project at Hands on at Otago.

Arnau pursued hockey for his Physical Recreation, explored history club for his Skills, and provided vital Service focused on the proper disposal of waste. He also completed an expedition at Lake Waikaremoana for his Adventurous Journey and took on a Residential Project assisting as a Youth Camp Leader.

Both Isla and Arnau have shown outstanding resilience, initiative, and personal growth. We wish you every success in your future endeavors as you transition to university and the next chapter of your lives.

With fantastic winter weather, our Scouts and Venturers got 'primal' at the wilderness of Makarau Scout Camp, spending two full nights sleeping out in hand-built bivies under the stars, cooking all their meals over crackling open fires, and mastering essential bushcraft and survival skills. 🔥⛺✨

Big thanks to everyone who came out to our WaterShed working bee yesterday! 🌿

What a massive effort! We are blown away by how much space was cleared in such a short time. It’s incredible to see the site prepped and ready for Phase 1 to kick off tomorrow. A huge thank you to everyone who brought tools, put in the hard work, and helped us hit this important milestone for our community. 💪🏗️⚜😊

Congratulations to venturer Lewis on achieving his Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award!

It was a special moment having his dad present the award to him right at the top of the climbing wall on Wednesday. Seeing him reach these new heights has been fantastic!🥈⚜🪜😀
