❄️🌡 If you are struggling to pay your power bill, you should contact your energy provider as soon as you can. Energy providers must follow consumer care obligations, which include working with you to keep your energy supply affordable. Your provider can work out a payment plan with you, so that your credit rating isn’t affected.

If you receive a benefit, are on a low income or have extra costs because you have a disability, you may be eligible for some financial assistance to help pay your power, gas and water bills.

You might also be able to save money on your power bills by switching to a different plan or provider or through things you can do at home to safely reduce your power consumption.

FREE ARTS EXHIBITION WHANAU FRIENDLY WAITEMATĀ & GULF WARD

Wander through a glowing tunnel of light and feel the magic of winter come alive!

Step inside Winter Light Cathedral - a dazzling, walk-through experience made from tens of thousands of tiny LED lights. Inspired by the sweeping arches of grand church windows, this luminous tunnel invites you in for a moment of warmth, wonder and a little bit of WOW.

From the outside, it shines like a beacon in Aotea Square. Inside, it’s something else entirely - a sparkling, cosy world where every step surrounds you in soft, golden light.

Subtle by day and radiant after dark, whether you're out for a family night or date night this is a joyful experience not to miss.

Walk it once, snap a pic, tag us , then go again - you’ll want to!

Hot tip: Visit on a Friday or Saturday night, between 6pm and 9pm, to watch neon-lit dancers bringing an extra touch of magic to the Cathedral.

Free entry, just turn up and step into the magic. Open 24/7 (best to visit after dark).
