This week we welcomed Andre as our newest member, and it happened at Mick's first meeting as our new President. Not a bad day for it.

We've got a few big things in the works this year that we're keen to get stuck into, all in the spirit of this year's Rotary message: Create Lasting Impact. That's what it's about for us, making a real and lasting difference in our community.

Andre joining is a good reminder for anyone who's been thinking about Rotary but hasn't made the move. If that's you, come along to a meeting, lend a hand on a project, or join up like Andre did. Get in touch or just drop in one week. Welcome aboard, Andre.

What a night. Our annual changeover brought the club together to see Suman hand over the President's role to Mick for the 2026-27 year.

There was plenty to celebrate and plenty to look forward to. Mick has set a clear direction for his year: backing our local youth. Hearing him lay out his plans, we're all feeling pretty inspired about where the club is heading.

A big thank you to Suman for everything over the past 12 months, and all the best to Mick as he takes the lead.

The Rotary Club of Orewa-Millwater has a new President. At our annual changeover lastnight, Suman handed over to Mick for the 2026-27 year.

Thank you Suman for your leadership over the past 12 months. You've left the club in great heart.

In Mick's speech he was clear about where he wants to put his energy: supporting our local youth. We're looking forward to seeing what our club can do for young people on the coast.

A warm welcome also to Peter J, who joins the board as Treasurer, alongside Kristy continuing as Secretary and Robbie as Public Image Chair.

Here's to a great year ahead!

Tonight we had an inspired meeting with the team from the Chiwi Hope Foundation.

JC and W***y shared the incredible work they’re doing for kids in need, and hearing about the massive impact they are making right here in our community was pretty special.

To help them keep working their magic, our incoming President, Mick, presented them with a $3,000 cheque on behalf of our Orewa Rotary Trust.
