Our Imam, Hafiz Sohel Khan, recently visited the new premises of the North City Islamic Youth Centre. (Br. Farook - On Left).

Since its establishment in 2023, the centre has been making great efforts in youth development and Dawah outreach. Our Imam was privileged to attend the opening of the centre and has witnessed its continued growth.

The new premises provide a wonderful opportunity to expand this important work. However, the centre still needs the community’s support to pay off the property. We encourage everyone to contribute generously towards this lasting Sadaqah Jāriyah for our Hereafter.

Every donation, whether large or small, will help secure a permanent home for Islamic education, youth development and Dawah.

May Allah accept the efforts and contributions of everyone involved, help the centre pay off the property, place immense barakah in the new premises, and make it a source of guidance for generations to come. Ameen.

🚲🛴 Celebrating Our Madrasah Children! 🌟

Our madrasah children were given playtime on bikes & scooters in appreciation of their commitment, dedication, and wonderful progress in their learning and achievements.

This initiative also encourages our children to spend less time on video games and screens, while developing a love for physical activity, outdoor play, and a healthier lifestyle.

May Allah ﷻ bless our children, increase them in beneficial knowledge, keep them steadfast upon Deen, and make them healthy and successful individuals. Ameen.

Another Shahadah. Alhamdulillah

Through the efforts of our Dawah Outreach Programme, a brother (23 years Old) in Wellington, the capital city of Aotearoa New Zealand has accepted Islam and recited the Shahadah.

After a meaningful discussion with our young scholar, Imam Hafiz Sohel Khan, the brother embraced Islam. Surely "Youths Attract Youth"

We warmly welcome our new brother into the Muslim Ummah. May Allah ﷻ strengthen his faith, guide him throughout his journey, and grant him steadfastness upon Islam.

May Allah ﷻ accept the efforts of everyone involved in this Dawah work and make it a means of guidance for many more people.
Allahu Akbar! Alhamdulillah!

We kindly request everyone to support and make du‘ā for the opening of Al Madinah School – Blockhouse Bay Campus.

This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the Islamic education and future of our Youths, a beautiful form of Sadaqah Jāriyah whose rewards can continue for generations, in shā’ Allāh.

May Allah ﷻ make the opening successful, place immense barakah in the school, and reward everyone who supports this noble cause. Āmīn. 🤲

Please support, share, and keep this important project in your du‘ās.

🌟 A Message From Youth To Youths

A new (Year 13) Youth from Ōtāhuhu College recently joined AMY and attended our youth camp. During the camp, he learned and realised many important things about Deen, purpose and living a better life.

Since then, we have witnessed a wonderful positive change in him, MashaAllah. Every day after school, he comes to AMY and joins us for Asr Salah, remaining connected to the masjid and good company.

He is now encouraging other young people to join AMY and experience the same positive environment.

May Allah keep him steadfast, increase him in knowledge and guide many more youths through his example.

📢 To all our youths: come and join AMY!
Connect with the masjid, strengthen your Deen, build good friendships and become the best version of yourself.

🌟 Small Hands, Big Heart! 🌟

One of our madrasah students, only five years old, voluntarily stepped forward to help with our fundraiser by carrying and transferring food while he came to offer Zuhar Salaah

It was truly heartwarming to witness such kindness, responsibility and eagerness to serve at such a young age. These moments demonstrate how AMY’s activities help develop our children holistically, building their character, confidence, teamwork and spirit of community service alongside their Islamic education.

May Allah ﷻ bless him, preserve his beautiful qualities and make him a source of goodness for the Ummah. Ameen. 🤲

🌟 People Behind AMY - THE A - TEAM 🌟

We are proud to introduce some of our core members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep AMY’s daily operations, events, and activities running successfully, initiating unique youth activities, setting great examples globally.

Their dedication, teamwork, and continued service play an important role in developing our youths holistically, spiritually, physically, socially, and emotionally.

We regret that some of our valued executives could not be present due to other commitments. Nevertheless, their contributions and ongoing support remain an essential part of AMY’s progress.

May Allah reward every member for their sincere efforts and enable us to continue serving and guiding our youths. Ameen.

Congratulations to Nadogo Muslim Team – Vanua Levu, Fiji

A very warm and heartfelt congratulations to the Nadogo Muslim Team on becoming the Champions of the Premier Division at the Vanua Levu Muslim Tournament in Fiji!

We would also like to extend a very special welcome back to New Zealand, and particularly to the AMY Centre, to our talented brother Nadeem.

Nadeem played a wonderful game throughout the tournament and once again demonstrated the talent, determination and sportsmanship that he is known for. Football clearly runs in the family, with Nadeem and two of his brothers playing important roles as key members of the team.

At AMY, we are especially proud of Nadeem not only because of his ability on the football field, but because of the person he is becoming off the field. He has been actively involved at our AMY Centre, attending prayers, participating in Centre activities, supporting fundraising efforts and playing a positive role among our youth.

Nadeem is a wonderful role model for our young people: spiritually strong, hardworking, committed to his faith, passionate about sport, respectful towards others and determined to earn his living through honest hard work.

This is the balance we hope to see in our youth, strong in Deen, disciplined in life, active in the community and striving for excellence in whatever they do.

AMY is truly proud to have someone like Nadeem as part of our community. May Allah Ta‘ala continue to guide him, strengthen his Imaan, bless his family, increase him in beneficial knowledge and success, and make him a source of inspiration for many other young people.

Congratulations once again to Nadogo Muslim Team, and welcome home, Nadeem!

From everyone at Aotearoa Muslim Youth (AMY)

Congratulations, Champions!
