Motu Moana Green Bay Scout Group

Motu Moana Green Bay Scout Group OUR PURPOSE
WE EMPOWER YOUTH THROUGH ADVENTUROUS EXPERIENCES TO LEAD LIVES THAT MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE

We are a land based Scout Group with two Kea Clubs, two Cub Packs, a Scout Troop and a Venturer Unit . About SCOUTS New Zealand

Every year we help 13,000 young people in New Zealand enjoy new adventures, experience the outdoors, make new connections, and gain confidence. We give young people the opportunity to reach their full potential. Working alongside our youth members are thousands of adult volunteers who bring a diverse range of skills, talent, and expertise to the Movement. There are a huge variety of roles and opportunities available for those wanting to volunteer with us. Our program focuses on three core areas; personal development, adventure and community engagement. Using these three main areas we aim to foster development in the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental aspects of young people. Scouts Aotearoa provides a safe, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to be their best selves.

Do you have a youth aged 5, 6 or 7 yrs old?? We need more Keas on a Thursday night!!!
We meet ⏰5:15 pm to 6.15pm at Scout Hall 📍6 Kinross St , Blockhouse Bay
This term at Keas we have an exciting program which includes cooking on open fires, going for a night walk to see glow worms, a DIY night at Bunnings, learning how to wash and iron our scarves and earning a badge, having a campfire with all the other Keas in the Zone and learning about where food comes from our Better World Kai badge.

We offer a four week free trial, no waiting list, no pressure to sign up as a Leader (unless you would like to 🙂)

We also have plenty of spaces available in all sections if you have a youth age 5 to 17 years.
Please check out our website for more information and sign up for the free trial .
If you have any questions feel free to email the Group Leader Toni Moffatt [email protected] or give her a call on 02102916079
