Such a rewarding morning with Fair Food, Food Rescue Charity  💛

A few of us had the privilege of rolling up our sleeves and joining the incredible team at Fair Food to bake cupcakes for Father’s Day.

These cupcakes will be shared with people in our community who need them most, and it was incredibly meaningful to know that something as simple as baking together could help bring a little joy to someone’s day.

We loved learning more about the amazing mahi Fair Food does to rescue food, reduce waste, and support communities across Auckland. A huge thank you to the Fair Food team for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful experience.

Congratulations to all involved!

Yesterday our President Saadik and Christine had the pleasure of joining the Rotary Club of Auckland for their afternoon meeting.

It was wonderful to reconnect with President Ann and the wider Rotary team, strengthening the friendships and connections that make the Rotary and Rotaract community so special. We were also joined by DG Joyti, making the afternoon even more memorable.

A highlight of the meeting was hearing from four recent RYLA graduates, who shared their experiences and reflections from their time at the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). Their stories of personal growth, leadership, friendship, and stepping outside their comfort zones were truly inspiring. 🌟

RYLA is a fantastic example of the opportunities Rotary creates to empower young people, develop future leaders, and build stronger communities.

A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Auckland for the warm welcome and for having us. We always value opportunities to connect, learn, and continue strengthening the relationship between Rotary and Rotaract.

Here’s to more collaboration, leadership, and service together! 🤝🌏

Good company and great ideas!
A few of our members came together for an evening of board games, connection, and conversation.

The night was filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and some exciting discussions about future project ideas and ways we can continue making a positive impact in our community.

Just as importantly, it was an opportunity to slow down, unwind, and connect with one another. It was a great reminder that mental wellbeing is often strengthened through simple moments like these.

After a few rounds of games, we headed out for some bites together to finish off what was a fantastic evening. Not a bad way to spend a typical cold and muggy June night!

Interested in meeting like-minded people, giving back to your community, and having fun while doing it? Come along to one of our upcoming events, we'd love to meet you!

Yesterday, the Rotaract Club of Auckland City joined the amazing team at Sustainable Coastlines for the Onehunga Clean-Up at Taumanu Reserve. Alongside volunteers from across Auckland, we spent the morning helping protect and restore one of our beautiful local coastlines. 🌏

From muddy mangroves and rocky shorelines to the huge number of rubbish bags collected by the end of the day, every effort made a real impact.

What made the day truly special was the people. There was so much laughter, great conversations, and genuine connection throughout the day. It quickly became more than just a clean-up. It was about building friendships, sharing experiences, and giving back together 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a meaningful day, including friends from nearby clubs like Rotaract Papatoetoe who stopped by to lend a hand.

At Rotaract Auckland City, we’re all about community, connection, and creating positive impact together. If you’re looking to meet amazing people, get involved in meaningful projects, and be part of a welcoming community, we’d love to have you join us ✨

This month’s social event took us deep into the breathtaking Waitākere Ranges, a celebration of nature and the beauty that surrounds us.

From panoramic views overlooking the Harbour to misty waterfalls, lush forest trails, unexpected rain showers, and well-earned hot chocolates, every moment was a reminder of why spending time in nature is so important.

What made the day truly special was sharing the experience with such an incredible group of people. Conversations flowed as effortlessly as the waterfalls, and despite Auckland giving us all four seasons in one day, the energy and laughter never faded 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and embraced both the adventure and (the unpredictable weather 😅).

Here’s to more socials, more laughs, and more greener choices together 🌏
