Introducing ONJA in Madagascar - established by our Rotary Club member Sam Lucas:

Onja works with talented students from families who are unable to provide tertiary education. Students live at Onja’s campus in Toamasina where they undergo specialised training in the English language followed by computer coding.

Used School Equipment was packed into a Shipping Container. It will be heading to Fiji as part of an International Project. Rotarians worked with recipients of a Young Adults Leadership course to make this happen. Did you know there are over 1 mill Rotarians globally.

We are proud to be supporting literacy initiatives in the seven fabulous schools we take care of. All year four and year one students were gifted with their own personal illustrated dictionary or ABC book and flash cards. This amounts to well over 500 education-approved publications for our needy schools. What a wonderful welcome our members received in these schools.

Helping out on the Sausage Sizzle was one of the ways Rotary club members helped out at this years Ellerslie School's Splash event. We squirted kids and helped run a game of Hook a Duck. Together with staff we ended up handing over the 800 hot dogs to hungry, soaking wet, delightful kids.

Get your Rotary Christmas puddings at the Stonefields Family Market Day this Saturday 22 Nov 10am-1pm. You can taste the French brandy in these premium puddings. Our regular customers keep coming back year after year. Why pay $35 for a smaller luxury pudding when you can buy a 700gm one for $25 knowing that your money is going to a good cause . As seen on 7 sharp it is a nationwide Rotary Fundraiser. We use the funds to fund our many youth projects and support a number of charities such as Mobility Dogs, Guardian Angels, Glen Innes Food Bank..... Youth projects in our area include Rotary Science Forum, Rotary Youth Leadership Award (A life changing camp), Rotary Youth Driver Awareness, Principals Discretionary Fund, Rotary Young Citizen Awards....
