Auckland Community Law Centre

Auckland Community Law Centre Auckland Community Law Centre (formerly Grey Lynn Neighbourhood Law Office) provides FREE legal services to members of the Auckland community.

The Auckland Community Law Centre (formerly known as Grey Lynn Neighbourhood Law Office) gives free legal advice to Aucklanders who can’t afford it. We can sometimes also represent clients who are facing truly life changing legal risks. As a community law centre, we aim to ensure access to justice for Auckland’s most vulnerable people. To this end, we also run community legal education events, lik

e seminars. We exist to serve Auckland’s diverse communities. As a charity, we depend on grants and on donations from the public to keep providing our services to help Aucklanders, as well as funding from the Ministry of Justice and New Zealand Law Society. While almost all our services are free, in very rare cases we may have to charge certain clients for some kinds of work (but that is very unusual, and we won’t ever surprise you with fees).
