Wreath Laying in Commemoration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day at Rizal Park, Auckland, New Zealand 🇵🇭🇳🇿

We honour the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of our Filipino heroes who fought for the freedom we enjoy. Standing together with the Knights of Rizal, we pay tribute to the legacy they left behind, resilience, unity, and love for our country.

As we lay this wreath, we remember not only the struggles of the past but also the responsibility we carry in the present: to uphold the values of freedom, dignity, and nationhood wherever we are in the world. A meaningful moment shared with our Filipino community here in Aotearoa, celebrating our heritage and keeping our history alive across oceans.

Outreach on Epic Day of Service 2026. Each individual possesses a distinct narrative to share, irrespective of gender or ethnicity.

We encountered these less fortunate individuals while en route to the Hillsborough, Lynfield, and Mt Roskill areas.

We did not make it to Auckland CBD as we ran out of meal packs. I hope we could do more and make it better next time.
