Recently a knitting delivery was made to Bald Angels, a charitable trust in Northland. A lovely letter of thanks was received from Trudie from the trust thanking our lovely club knitters and natters.
"Kia ora Hazel & the Knit & Natters.
- Just a little note to say a massive thank you for the beautiful knitted goodies you’ve put together for us.
The time and care that goes into each piece is so appreciated, and they’ll be going to people in our community who really will benefit from a little extra warmth and kindness.
We’re so grateful to have wonderful groups like yours behind us and helping us support our vulnerable whānau. Thank you again for all the love you put into what you do".-
From Trudie, Bald Angels Charitable Trust.

What a successful 2025 - 2026 Inner Wheel year it has been. Working with teams format has proven to be very successful, and we will continue into the new Inner Wheel year with this format. Well done to Jo and Juliet for co-sharing the role of President, you have both done a great job. Congratulations and thanks to our outgoing committee for your work and contribution.

Our Auckland East Inner Wheel members stepped up when asked for much needed knitwear and tops and pants that they could pass on. A car full of items delivered today along with more gorgeous knitting. Thanks ladies, we did well.

Huge thanks to Bridgette from The Inner Wheel Auckland East, who came in with a car load of warmth a few weeks ago. After seeing what we were short of she went away and collected some much needed items. Dropping them today. Towels, warm ladies clothes, Trackpants, warm tops and much needed knitted jumpers for older babies 2-3 years. Legendary thank you The Inner Wheel Auckland East

Our Auckland East members donated 26 pairs of PJ'S, onsies, throws, fluffy pj's and more. We added blankets tins of food, toiletries to the delivery. An amazing organisation, who are very appreciative of our donation. Thanks all. Here are Clare and Bridgette delivering to Give a Kid a Blanket.
