And he can’t wait to find a family who’ll share in all his love 💕.

Sawyer is,

- A 2-walks-a-day kind of guy who lives for his people — he’ll kiss you to death! 💋
- Loves his humans, although he can be a bit particular about who he adores!
- A real snuggler who just wants to be close to you
- Crate trained and happy to stay home for a while with a buddy, so you can still do life stuff
- Loves car rides and has been good with other dogs he’s met
- He can lack confidence at times, so he’d do best with another greyhound or a medium+ non-grey to give him that extra boost
- Crowded places aren’t his thing yet, but he’s improving every day — he just needs a little patience

*Not cat trainable*

📢 Important update about adoptions 💛

We are absolutely thrilled that so many people want to welcome a greyhound into their family.

Sadly, we need to temporarily close all applications to homes with existing cats 🐈‍⬛. We currently have a very, very long waiting list and want to make sure every hound goes to the best possible match.

We know this is disappointing, and we’re sorry for the frustration. This is just the reality for us right now.

We will reopen applications for cat homes as soon as it’s appropriate to do so, and we’ll let you know right away.

❤️ Mia Adopted ❤️

A few weeks ago, Mia (Talk Tonight) found her forever home with Kevin and Vikki in Rangiora.

Kevin and Vikki had actually submitted their application a little while earlier, knowing they weren't quite ready to welcome a dog home until after a planned trip. It worked out perfectly, with Mia becoming available at just the right time.

Not all of our dogs are advertised, so even if you're not quite ready to adopt, it's worth getting your application in early. That way, we can keep you in mind when the right dog comes along.

Mia has settled in beautifully and has already taken on the important job of supervising Kevin while he works in the shed. When she's off duty, she's busy finding cosy spots around the house for a snooze.💤

Thank you, Kevin and Vikki, for giving Mia such a wonderful home. We can't wait to see more updates of your stunning girl. ❤️

🐾 ADOPTED – BUSTER 🐾

Our shy, affectionate gentle giant, Buster (Bill Buster), has found his forever home with Ian and his family. ❤️

After recently losing their beloved Enzo, they opened their hearts once again to another shy greyhound looking for his forever home.

Buster has joined resident hounds Jay and Austin. Hannah, Ian's daughter, also played a part in Buster's adoption, but it was Austin who sealed the deal. Austin took to Buster immediately, following him everywhere with a wagging tail. It was wonderful to see him happy again after losing Enzo.

A huge thank you also to Buster's foster mum, Donna, for her patience and dedication in helping build his confidence and preparing him for his forever home.

Thank you, Ian and family, for giving Buster the loving home he deserves.

We can't wait to see more Buster updates as he enjoys life in his forever home. ❤️🐾

✨ Walker is now available for adoption! ✨

Walker spent last night celebrating Matariki at a local festival, taking the crowds, sights and sounds in his stride.

Walker has a lovely habit of sitting in front of you and looking right into your eyes with his soft, soulful gaze, quietly inviting you to pat him. Once you do, you'll discover his stunning, gleaming coat is so incredibly soft that it's hard to stop.

Intelligent, inquisitive and easy-going, Walker loves his walks, toys and treats. He already knows how to sit, is a quick learner, and would happily live as an only dog or with other dogs. While he enjoys affection, he's equally content to settle nearby and simply be with his people.

🗺️ South Island based
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Would suit older children who can join in his love of toys and play.
🚫 No cats
