International Youth Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate and mainstream our rangatahi’s voices, actions and initiatives, as well as their meaningful, universal and equitable engagement. Today we celebrate you , our rangatahi fellows.

We honour your bravery and fire to keep fighting for racial and social justice. We learn from you daily; your courage to stand up for what is right is inspiring, and we hope to continue to walk alongside you on this journey.

Our fellows have some exciting things coming this year. We highly encourage the public to follow them on Instagram to be updated and be willing to partner with them on upcoming events/workshops.

The goal of anti-racism is to challenge racism and actively change the policies, behaviours, and beliefs that perpetuate racist ideas and actions.

Anti-racism is rooted in action. It is about taking steps to eliminate racism at the individual, institutional, and structural levels.
