🎉

Well there we have it folks! Thanks for sticking with us while we wrapped up 10 years of TFN NZ! We have two last messages we want to share:

Firstly, our impact to date. These numbers speak volumes about the level of generosity in this beautiful country of ours. This is generosity in both the number of charities doing good in their communities, and the amount of $ that is donated to good causes every year.

THANK YOU to every single person that has made a donation during any of our events, shared a post, spread the word, read a newsletter or sent a message of support. You've made an incredible difference - keep being generous whenever you can!

❤️ Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari kē he toa takitini - My success should not be bestowed onto me alone, it was not individual success but the success of a collective ❤️

Secondly, the future. As mentioned before, we are excited to have our team member Anusha lead a project in 2024 to turn the Generosity Generator into a free, self-paced online course, in partnership with Givealittle. If you would more info or to be alerted about when the course is available, please send your name & email address to [email protected].

Meri Kirihimete! Here's to a safe & relaxing summer break, and a happy new year!

E noho rā & arohanui,
The TFN NZ team ❤️

🎉

And finally a message from our other staff member (we're a 2 person team!), Anusha Bhana, our Digital & Comms Co-lead! ❤️

Anusha joined the TFN team in January 2022, and together with Tim has facilitated the online fundraising programme - specifically supporting charities with their fundraising comms and storytelling. She also worked to promote GG both as an opportunity for small Kiwi charities and as a way for generous Kiwis to give to good causes.

She will be leading the project to turn GG into an online course in 2024, in partnership with Givealittle! 🥳

Ngā mihi nui Anusha for all your hard mahi during this time! 👏

🎉

Now for a message from one of our staff team - fundraising extraordinaire & charity leader Tim Pare! ❤️

Tim joined the TFN NZ tīma as the CEO in late 2019, and his first mission in 2020 was to pivot our kaupapa to better support small Kiwi grassroots charities during the pandemic. He ran the series of online events, and then in early 2022 teamed up with Anusha to co-lead TFN NZ, creating and delivering the Generosity Generator for the last two years!

He will be the star of our online course in 2024 in partnership with Givealittle, as the presenter of the video tutorials.

Ngā mihi nui Tim for all your hard mahi during this time! 👏

🎉

More special messages from our current team! This time it's Nick Edgar, Trustee and Co-Founder of TFN NZ.

Nick co-founded TFN NZ with Hilary Sumpter back in 2014 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. After playing a key role in organising our live crowdfunding events, he eventually stepped into the Trustee role. Through his leadership he ensured that every initiative we rolled out aligned with our kaupapa of building the capacity of small Kiwi grassroots charities.

Ngā mihi nui Nick for all your hard mahi during this time! 👏

🎉

Here's a special message from our current Chairperson & Trustee, Yolande Dewey, sharing a couple of her highlights from her time with TFN NZ ❤️

Yolande joined TFN NZ in 2017 as a pitch coach to help charities prepare for our live crowdfunding events, and as time went on stepped into the Trustee and Chairperson roles.

Ngā mihi nui Yolande for all your hard mahi during this time! 👏

🎉

We'd like to share some special messages from our current team, starting with our Trustees.

Paul Dennis is one of three trustees that has been on the governing board of TFN NZ for the last four years.

Ngā mihi nui Paul for all your hard mahi over this time! 👏 Listen to Paul share a couple of highlights from this time with TFN NZ ❤️

Last but certainly not least is our Event Partner Givealittle👏

Mel Steel & the Givealittle team first partnered with us for the online events in 2020. Since then they have provided an excellent crowdfunding platform and incredible 1:1 support for all the charities that have come through our programmes.

We are SO excited that the next iteration of the Generosity Generator online fundraising training programme will be in partnership with them! 🎉

During the time that Givealittle collaborated with us, 139 charities raised a collective total of $1,147,085! Ngā mihi nui to Givealittle for partnering with us for the last 4 years and helping make the TFN NZ kaupapa what it is today! ❤️
