Introducing Renee White, founder of 👦🏼👧🏻🧒🏽

Renee founded Little People Big Emotions when she had her fist born, Eli. Renee realised how much she struggled to deal with her own emotional regulation. After a bit of research online, she found a gap in the market to create unique resources for other parents and educators. Renee dove into research, studies and behavioural science to create their own unique method - The Peaceful Place.

We are SO inspired by Renee’s mahi and excited to be a part of their journey….Ka mau te wehi ki a koe!

Ayden was selected to pitch to our He Kākano panel, with special guests providing extra feedback and guidance. 

Pathfinder donated to The Kings Trust He Kākano Fund as part of their Champions of People, our Planet and Animals giving model, where they dedicate 1% of revenue from across their retail Funds to bring about their vision for the future faster, improving our planet and the lives of people and animals.

We loved teaming up with Lincoln Uni recently to deliver a bespoke workshop for young entrepreneurs building land-based businesses. At The King’s Trust, sustainability matters deeply - for both young people and the planet - so it was incredibly special to connect with others who share that vision.

Thank you to Dr. Ani Kartikasari - Lincoln University, Graham Scown - Ministry of Awesome and Yasmin Wessels - The Flower Loop and He Kākano alumni for coming along and sharing their stories, insights and entrepreneurial journeys 💛

And thank you to Lincoln University and Faith for hosting us so warmly. We’re excited to keep growing this relationship and can’t wait to be back!

King’s Birthday Royal Honours 2026

Celebrating our long serving trustee, Emeritus Professor Pare Keiha, QSO, to be made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Pictured here on our recent trip to Buckingham Palace with alumnus Malachi Kurei and CEO Rod Baxter.

We’re also thrilled to recognise one of our funding trustees, Sam Johnson, who is to be made an Officer of the Order. Pictured with Rod enjoying sweet treats at the British High Commissioner’s Homewood Ball 2025.
