Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our adopters and supporters. You all make these challenges so worthwhile, coming to the aid of those dogs who owners have given up on them, departed from them, leaving them lost and alone, with either physical support or financial support. Without your help we would struggle, with your help we succeed.
Many think we are a general rescue, we are not. We are there for the ones who have no-one to help them - no owners.
When you make the decision to get a GSD, it is a life decision, not an 'until' decision. Yes they can make you change your life, but that should have been considered before purchase not after. The first 18 months the most challenging, the fur shedding can be horrendous, but surely you knew all that before hand - So a big thank you to the adopters for changing their lives and accepting the fur shedding by giving these abandoned and lost ones a chance of a 'second leash on life'.
So keep safe over these holidays, spoil your dog with love and kindness, don't let them get into the christmas tarts and we will continue on with our mission in 2025.
