The Logos Project

The Logos Project A Marist youth organisation anchored in faith and shaped by justice. We empower young people through retreats, leadership, and community.

Upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and prioritising wellbeing, we work for a more just, connected world. Since our inception in 2000, we have become involved in the lives of over 10,000 young people each year, in Auckland and beyond. The Logos Project is a registered charitable trust and not for profit organistion. We are an experienced, talented and vibrant team, committed to helping young people rea

ch their potential. We provide a range of programmes and services for young people in Community, School and Church settings. Our programmes and services support young people to explore who they are, and achieve their full potential. We believe this is achieved through positive relationships, engagement with the community, challenging experiences and opportunities for reflection.

How good is this 👏🏽

The Sisters of Compassion in Island Bay Wellington are launching Te Pūaroha Community, a new intentional Christian community for young women aged 18 to 26.

It is rare to see a religious order create something fresh like this for young adults. A faith centred home of prayer, service, shared living and growth is such a courageous and hopeful move.

If you know a young woman looking for something more purposeful and connected than standard flatting, this could be a gift.

We are cheering this on. Ngā mihi to the Sisters for leading with courage and imagination.

The Compassion Whānau in Island Bay, Wellington, is thrilled to introduce Te Pūaroha Community - a brand new Christian intentional community for young women aged 18-26.

We're creating a safe, faith-centered home where prayer, service, and shared living come together. Whether you're looking for an alternative to traditional halls of residence or seeking to live alongside like-minded Christians, Te Pūaroha offers a nurturing space for spiritual growth and personal development.

Residents will embrace the rhythms of prayer and hospitality at the heart of life at the Home of Compassion.

Last Friday we gathered for our Advent Mass and celebration. A beautiful chance to pause, give thanks, and recognise the people who shape the life of Logos ✨

We honoured our Marist whānau, the Sisters of St Joseph, our secondary schools, our staff, our Connectors, and the thousands of young people we’ve journeyed with this year.

A special acknowledgement to Fr Tim Duckworth for his 20+ years of support and the pivotal role he has played in shaping the direction of Logos and who we are today.

Thank you to everyone who filled Whānau Maria with such warmth, laughter, prayer, and community.
What a blessing to end the year together and carry that hope into the next.
