Our Pataka kai is back in the Community. It is sitting at its new location ‘Snells Beach Coummunity Police Station’ until the renovations of the Mahurangi East Library have been completed.

PLEASE only use it for what it is intended for, which is ‘FOOD’ items only.
NO used goods/rubbish are to be placed in or around the Pataka Kai. If this occurs it will be removed from the current location.

Thank you to the Warkworth Mens Shed for all the hard work that went into giving the Pataka Kai a makeover.
And thank you to the community for your patience while this was being done.

Popped down to the Warkworth Mens Shed to check the progress of the Pataka Kai, and to meet some of the gentlemen working on our project. It was a hive of activity of wonderful talented gentlemen working on various projects.
As for the Pataka Kai it’s looking great. Doors getting a second coat.
We as a community are very lucky to have a group of very talented gentlemen working on different various community projects.
Not long to go now, and it will be placed at its new location, I know as a community we have missed it, but good things take time.
Thank you for continuous patience.

Coffee Club is on this morning from 10-12. Come down to Snells Beach Community Church. Our lovely ladies will be serving barista coffee and delicious baking. Come along for some good conversation and laughs.
One of our lovely Justice of Peace personel will be onsite today if you are needing their services.

UPDATE: Our community Pataka Kai, is getting its make over, with fresh paint, doors and some wooden baskets for loose produce. Once it is completed it will be placed at the Snells Beach Community Police Station until we can relocate it back to Mahurangi East Library once their renovations are done.

Our Pataka Kai has been removed from Mahurangi East Library while renovations are being done. Big thank you to Dave from Warkworth Mens Shed for arranging removal. The Pataka Kai will be getting some much needed TLC and waterproofing. We will update once it is back up and running. Thank you to our community for your patience while this is done.
