Our Story

Established in 2016, Tōhī is New Zealand’s only bilingual (Te Reo/English) Toastmasters Club. This club is for those who would like to improve their public speaking in either English or Te Reo Māori.

Toastmasters is a worldwide programme where you can improve your leadership and communication skills in a safe, supportive club environment.

Tōhī is a friendly and supportive group for those looking for space to practice and gain confidence using Te Reo Māori. We meet every Tuesday, 12-1pm in the WB Building, Room 102 at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) – City Campus.

All levels of Te Reo are welcome from beginner to advanced.
