Japanese Society of Auckland Incorporated (オークランド日本人会) オークランド日本人会（ニュージーランド）

オークランド日本人会は、オークランド地域に在住する個人（家族・単身）会員及び法人会員で構成され、ボランティア役員により運営されています。
本会は、会員相互の親睦を主な目的として、1989年12月に設立されました。近年はインターネット等の普及 で日本や日本語の情報は簡単に手に入るようになり、日本人だけで集まる必要性自体は薄れてきましたが、在住者における永住者が増える反面、日頃日本人と会って話す機会のない方々も増えています。
多様化社会ニュージーランドの最大都市オークランドの日本人コミュニティとして、ここで生まれ育つ子供たちそして当地の人々にも、日本の伝統や文化を伝え広めていくことで、日本とニュージーランドの関係をより深めることができれば、少しでも皆さまのお役に立てればとの思いで活動しています。また、高齢者や子供たちのために役立つような活動にも力を注いでいます。
