Auckland University of Technology IEEE Student Branch This is the Auckland University of Technology's student branch of IEEE. Our aim is to provide the engineering students of AUT with opportunities.

IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. We as a student branch of IEEE aim to provide our branch members the opportunity to meet

and foster relations with the professional engineering community within New Zealand and when opportunity arises elsewhere. Our main aim is to ready our members for transition from students to becoming a professional engineers by hosting events that are relevant to todays fast paced economy. Events such as mock interviews, site visits, local social networking event and so on.
