Noa’ia ‘e mauri gagaj atakoa ✨ Hea’hea’ lelei ne gasav ne fäeag Rotuạm ta🌺

Kia Tupu Kia Toa Cohort 10 kicked off just over a weekend ago in the Hokianga and what a way to begin the journey. A weekend full of culture, kai, laughter, reflection and real kōrero!

From standing beneath Tāne Mahuta, walking through Manea: Footprints of Kupe and visiting Waitangi Treaty Grounds, to simply slowing down and being present with the people around us.

The kind of weekend that reminds you to “be where your feet are”, building genuine connections and setting the tone for the wānanga ahead. We can’t wait for this group to continue their journey!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the privilege of connecting with our amazing tertiary students as part of our tertiary engagements! What an honour to share the same space in talanoa/kōrero about the journeys ahead. 🌱
