School of Philosophy (Auckland) At the School of Philosophy in Auckland you can join people from all walks of life on a journey of inner discovery.

Each week, material is presented for consideration by the group in a friendly and relaxed environment. There is no pressure for students to participate if they do not wish to. The central premise of the course is to neither accept nor reject anything without first testing it for yourself in practice.

Contradictions have always existed in the soul of [individuals]. But it is only when we prefer analysis to silence that they become a constant and insoluble problem. We are not meant to resolve all contradictions but to live with them and rise above them and see them in the light of exterior and objective values which make them trivial by comparison.
