Our star viola and Principal Bass Trombone student, Tomasi Latai, is currently away in Ōtautahi with the NZ Secondary Schools Brass Band! 🎺

This camp is such a valuable experience within the NZ brass band scene. It was once a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for some of our tutors, and now we get to see our students, like Tomasi, experience it too. A pretty special full-circle moment!

We are so proud of you, Tomasi, and can’t wait to hear all about the trip when you’re back. I’m sure the reunion with former Sistema tutor Whaea Linda will be a pretty special one too!

Go well, Tomasi! 🥳🎺

And we’re underway!!
Lots of disrupted flights but only a handful haven’t got here yet.
Starting with combined band and activities this afternoon.
