Happening apopo - Saturday 3rd October 2-4pm - we are making Guava moth traps, bring a couple of empty 2 litre milk bottles to make a trap for the orchard feijoas and one for you to take home.... standard orchard chores happening too :)

GUAVA MOTH - Unlike many pests that hibernate, the guava moth breeds all year round, moving from host to host as different fruits ripen with the seasons.

Along with regular orchard chores, this weekend (Saturday 3rd Oct, 2-4pm), we will be making guava moth traps, bring a milk bottle or two and make a trap to take home too.

Something broken at home? Don't bin it — bring it to our Repair Café!

Our regular crew of electricians, sewing experts, home handyman, darner, book mender, bike fixer, and IT gurus will all be there — ready to help.

Enjoy a home-baked cookie and a cuppa while your item is being repaired. ☕🍪

It's free to attend — koha/donation appreciated. See you there!

Bringing something that needs a spare part? Please bring the part with you — we can only stock a very small selection.

Got a zip to replace? Zips are tricky and time-consuming, so we can't promise a repair — but we'll do our best! Please remove the old zip and bring a replacement with you for the best chance of success.
