💚 A huge thank you from the Te Atatū Foodbank volunteers! 💚

We’d like to say a very special thank you to Tim and the Cubs from Te Atatū Endeavour Sea Scouts for getting behind our food collection and helping us support local families in our community. 🥫👏

And of course, a massive thank you to everyone in our wonderful Te Atatū community who has donated through our collection boxes at New World Te Atatū and the Te Atatū Peninsula Community Centre Library.

Every tin, packet, bag and item donated makes a real difference. It means we can continue putting together food parcels for local families who need a little extra support.

We are so grateful to everyone who gives, volunteers, encourages us and helps spread the word. This is what community looks like. ❤️

From all of us at the Te Atatū Foodbank — thank you!

📣 EXCITING NEWS, TE ATATŪ! 💚

We’re thrilled to let you know that we now have a collection box for non-perishable food donations at New World Te Atatū! 🛒🥫

This makes it even easier for our wonderful community to support the Te Atatū Foodbank. If you’re doing your grocery shop and would like to donate an item or two, simply pop your non-perishable donations into our collection box. Every single item makes a difference to local families who need a helping hand. ❤️

A huge thank you to New World for kindly agreeing to have our collection box — we really appreciate your support of our local community.

And an extra BIG thank you to Chum for making our beautiful donation box for us! 🙏

A HUGE community shoutout! 💛

A big thank you to the wonderful team at Care Waitakere for their generous staff collection of sanitary products and household essentials for Te Atatu Foodbank. 🙌

These are items we don’t often receive as donations, but they are regularly requested by families who use the foodbank — things like shampoo, toothpaste, toiletries and sanitary products. Your collection makes a real difference. 💛

📣 COMMUNITY REQUEST — BROWN PAPER BAGS

We’re also making a little plea to our amazing community… we’re running VERY low on brown paper bags! 🛍️

If you have spare brown paper grocery bags that you could donate, we would be incredibly grateful. They are an essential part of packing our food parcels each week.

A huge Te Atatū Foodbank welcome to Ashleigh and the team at New World Te Atatū! 🎉

We were delighted to welcome Ashleigh to the foodbank recently to meet our volunteer team and learn more about the work we do to support local families.

We’re incredibly grateful that New World Te Atatū has committed to supporting our community by hosting a permanent Te Atatū Foodbank donation collection box in their new supermarket. This means shoppers will be able to easily donate much-needed pantry items every time they visit.

Thank you, Ashleigh and the New World Te Atatū team, for partnering with us to help make a real difference in our community. Your support will help ensure local families facing hardship receive the assistance they need.

We wish you every success with your opening on 11 August and look forward to working together for many years to come.

Please join us in welcoming New World Te Atatū and thanking them for their wonderful support of our community! 💙

It’s Volunteer Week, and we want to say a huge thank you to the incredible people behind Te Atatū Foodbank. ❤️

Every food parcel packed, every donation sorted, every shelf stocked, every family supported – none of it would happen without our amazing volunteers.

Our volunteers generously give their time, energy, and care to help ensure local families have access to food when they need it most. They work quietly behind the scenes, often without recognition, simply because they want to make a difference in our community.

To each and every one of you: thank you. We are so grateful for your commitment, kindness, and willingness to serve others. You are the heart of our Foodbank, and our community is stronger because of you.

Please join us in celebrating and thanking these wonderful people during Volunteer Week. 👏💚

A huge thank you to Sophie and Maeve, who organised this fantastic food collection as part of their Gold Koru Community Action project. Local legends!!

With support from Peninsula Primary School and To’a Brownies, they collected a wonderful amount of food that will now be distributed to local families through Te Atatū Foodbank.

It’s inspiring to see young people stepping up to make a difference in their community. The food collected will help stock our shelves and go directly into food parcels for families who need a helping hand.

Thank you, Sophie and Maeve, and everyone at Peninsula Primary School and To’a Brownies who contributed. Your kindness and hard work will have a real impact on many local families. ❤️

🌾 A Huge Thank You to JMP Engineering! 🌾

We would like to extend a MASSIVE thanks to JMP Engineering for their incredible generosity in donating an entire pallet load of rice to Te Atatū Foodbank for the second year in a row.

If you’ve received a food parcel from us over the past year, there’s a very good chance some of the rice in your parcel came from this amazing donation. Rice is one of our most useful pantry staples, helping families create filling and nutritious meals when times are tough.

The support of local businesses like JMP Engineering makes a real difference and helps us continue providing food parcels to families throughout our community.

Thank you for standing alongside us and helping ensure local families have food on the table. We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support. ❤️
