Winter Glow: A local celebration of Rainbow Pride.
Winter Glow is a brand-new winter pride festival, celebrating our Takatāpui and LGBTQIA+ communities through local activations that spark connection, belonging and pride, warming the winter months with a rainbow glow!
Kindly supported by the Albert-Eden Local Board, this festival will bring new and exciting activities and events to the neighbourhood, whilst also showcasing existing programmes and partners.

Come one, come all to the Auckland Deaf Society's NZSL Open Night! Help us kick off NZSL Week early at Mt Albert Library with a free 30min NZSL class and Introduction to Deaf Culture taster session, with games and spot prizes. All ages welcome!

This free event is an opportunity for the Auckland Deaf Society to help increase visibility of Deaf Culture and NZSL, to showcase our NZSL courses, and help Mt Albert Library kick-start our series of NZSL Week events throughout May.

A big thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday to support the Kids Market at Sandringham Community Centre.

The youth stall holders worked during their holidays to get ready and there was handmade creations to carefully curated treasures, the kids showed real initiative, confidence and pride in what they were offering.

These markets are all about giving young people a chance to have a go, build skills and feel supported by their community.

Thanks again for showing up and encouraging our young entrepreneurs 💛
