Ka rawe e hoa mā!

Today at our foundation Elevate Leaders programme, we were privileged to hear four outstanding, innovative solutions to relevant problems our business and communities are or will be challenged with in the near future.

The groups were asked to present their solutions in front of our Lioness Den: Dame Theresa Gattung, Auckland Airport CEO Carrie Hurihanganui, CCO for McPherson’s Tanya Pitchforth, Mercer CEO Anna Scott, and Global Women CEO Katie Bhreatnach.

Vinnie Siew, Rebecca Bonnevie, Adrianna Hannan, Angela King, and Jacinda Page developed and presented an engaging and thought-provoking presentation on the effects of quantum computing.

With their excellent presentation, they took the Lioness’s on a journey, highlighting that in order to get ahead of this technology, we need to stretch our collective imaginations to implement forward-thinking, Aotearoa-centric policy to protect the data security of ourselves and our most vulnerable communities.

Ka nui te mihi ki a koutou, you did an incredible job!

✨ He wahine toa. A new era of leadership. ✨

Our Global Women Māori members rōpū reflected on the historic first address of Te Arikinui Kuini Ngā Wai Hono i te Pō, the Māori Queen over the weekend.

Her address was strategic, thoughtful, and deeply moving – offering both vision and clarity for the future. The occasion carried immense significance, blending emotion and joy in a way that will be long remembered, and showcasing leadership with real depth and strength.

The sense of kotahitanga was strongly felt as Maoridom stood with one voice. She honoured those who came before her and elevated the deep human connection between the Kingitanga and all of Aotearoa, encouraging us to work together.

Her call to healing, unity, and regeneration through economic independence resonates profoundly with our kaupapa of advancing inclusive leadership in Aotearoa.

We stand in admiration of this extraordinary wāhine leader and the legacy she is shaping for generations to come.
