Despite the fact that our meeting clashed with the Waikato Winter Orchid Show, we had a great turnout of people, display plants and raffle prizes. We first listen to Ralph O'Neil talk to us about Bryan Sharpe's Bio Plus Orchid Food and how to use it around the changing seasons. We then listened to Peter Jenner talk about his results while using clay balls. He was given a quantity of clay balls which he then bagged up and anyone at the meeting could rake a bag home with them to trial on their plants. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all
