Supporting people in our community to navigate holistically through life-threatening illness. Dove Hospice is a standalone, registered charitable trust.

The Dove model of care means caring for people from the moment they are diagnosed with a life threatening illness through to end of life or to wellness. Unlike other hospices we support people who have a terminal prognosis and those who expect full recovery, ‘bridging the gap’ between diagnosis and end of life, or diagnosis and wellness. Our model of care falls outside traditional government funding so we rely totally on the gift of time from volunteers, the gift of product to our eight Dove Hospice Shops, fundraising, grants, bequests and donations. 🚌✨ Dove’s Bus Tour & High Tea ✨🫖

What a fabulous day! We were joined by 36 wonderful attendees for a full day of shopping, fun and a beautiful High Tea at .

We visited 5 Dove shop locations, with plenty of time to browse and shop.

A huge thank you to the amazing Wayne from .coaches for getting our team and attendees safely from stop to stop and making the day run so smoothly.

We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing sponsors and supporters who help make events like this possible and extra special.

And finally, a massive thank you to everyone who joined us! We loved spending the day with you and hope you had as much fun as we did.

What an incredible afternoon at the Hospice Long Lunch!

Last Saturday, we joined together at The French Café for a very special afternoon in support of Dove Hospice & Wellness and Mercy Hospice.

Guests enjoyed an incredible three-course lunch, live entertainment, auctions, raffles and plenty of fun, all while coming together to support the work of our two hospices.

A huge thank you to BNI on Quay and BNI Achievers for bringing this wonderful event together, to The French Café for hosting us so generously in their beautiful space, and to everyone who donated prizes and helped make the day possible.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, bid generously, bought raffle tickets and got behind the event. We’re incredibly grateful for your support. 💙

Each week, wonderful groups of volunteers give their time to prepare morning tea for our support groups at Dove House. They bring along incredible homemade baking and treats, make sandwiches, and put together a delicious spread for our service users to enjoy.

It’s a lovely act of kindness and care that helps make Dove House a warm and welcoming place for the people who come through our doors.

We’re so grateful to these wonderful volunteers for everything they bring to Dove each week. 💙

A very special delivery arrived at our St Heliers Dove Shop this week! 💙

Children from the local Bear Park Early Childcare Centre created beautifully hand-painted bags and then paid our team a visit to drop them off themselves.

We love seeing our youngest community members learning about giving, reusing and supporting others, and putting their own colourful stamp on it along the way.

A big thank you to the children and teachers at Bear Park for thinking of Dove.

Earlier this month, we hosted our third Wellness Retreat of the year at Dove Hospice & Wellness, this time with a beautiful spring theme. 💛🌻✨️

Our Wellness Retreats provide an opportunity for our service users to take some time for themselves, connect with others, and enjoy a day focused on relaxation and wellbeing.

Participants enjoyed nature therapy in our grounds, yoga, therapeutic tapping and a relaxing sound bath, along with a delicious homemade morning tea and lunch prepared by our team.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special.
