A parade will take place at 10.30am from the Ellerslie War Memorial Hall then the magical characters will disperse to their allocated areas to sing, dance & entertain you. Plus fairy floss, facepainting (gold coin), kids activities, a unicorn, circus fun, big bubbles & amusement rides in the Robert Street Carpark ($6 per ride - cash only). Meet fairies, princesses, pirates & superheroes. Dress up
& get your photo taken! And there's a General Collective Kids Market in the Arthur Street carpark from 10am - 1pm on the day of the Fairy Festival & Pirate Party
Ellerslie businesses will be open as usual on the day of the festival for breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshments & shopping. NB: Main Highway from Arthur Street to Robert Street & Ladies Mile from Main Highway to the exit of the Robert Street carpark will be closed to traffic from 8.30am with no parking on this area until after the road opens at approximately 2pm. Parking: in surrounding streets (including over the motorway)
Train: Ellerslie station - walk up motorway over bridge out to the right to Ellerslie Village. Come & join the fun!
