Last Thursday, our talented Hibiscus Tuakana performers had the privilege of taking part in the Matariki Festival at Mahurangi College, an event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of our community✨
This was our 5th year being involved, and we are absolutely thrilled to have had the opportunity to share our passion for performance with our community. We are so grateful to the young people who dedicated their afternoons to practice, mustered the courage to get up on stage, and gave it their best. Thank you for taking the opportunity, supporting each other, and for performing with so much prideđź’™
We are also thankful to the organizers of the Matariki Festival for providing a platform for our students to showcase their talents and connect with their roots. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to do it all again next year🎉
